I graduated from Wilson College with a Bachelors in Veterinary Medical Technology. I have been with Valley Green since 2002. Currently, I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a cockatiel. In my spare time, I like to go hiking, camping, and some pet sitting and dog training.
I started at Valley Green Veterinary Hospital as a Certified Veterinary Technician when the hospital opened in April 1988. I graduated from Harcum Junior College with an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology in 1984. I helped my husband raise 3 daughters and we have 8 grandchildren. Currently, we are raising 1 cat and 1 Tibetan Spaniel. In our spare time, we like to travel.
I am a Certified Veterinary Technician and have worked at Valley Green Veterinary Hospital since May of 2008. I am happily married with two wonderful kids, a son and a daughter. My four legged family members are Daisy, a Great Dane and Beau, a Labradoodle. My family enjoys the outdoors and likes to spend their leisure time on the river with friends and family
My experience in the Veterinary field started in high school as a Veterinary Assistant. I attended Harcum Junior College and graduated with an associate degree in Vet Tech in 1990. Valley Green provides free Veterinary Care for Tazer (Newberry Township Police Dog)
Tazer is a black and tan 2-year old German Shepherd from the Czech Republic. Officer Martinez obtained Tazer when he was 10 months old and was only in the United States for a couple of days. Tazer and Officer Martinez completed a one-month K-9 Training Academy at Castle's K-9 in November of 2010. Upon completion of the training academy, Tazer and Officer Martinez certified through NAPWDA (North American Police Work Dog Association) in several different areas: Narcotics Detection, Suspect Apprehension, Tracking, Building Searches, Article Searches, and Handler Protection. Tazer has been on the streets since November 2010 and is responsible for the seizure of just over $11,000 in narcotics.
